It happened! All my hard work paid off, I booked my first print ad. It will appear in the November issue of Women's Health. Here I am with the model - she is pretty. This is not the picture you will see in November - that is a secret so that it will be a big surprise later.
I must admit, it was a lot more work than I expected. Ok, I really had no idea what to expect. It started out well, there was a trailer - no star next to my name yet -but that's ok. I arrived with my Aunt Mimi at the studio in Soho fifteen minutes before my noon call time. We settled in and then found out we were going to be on location most of the day. Luckily, the day was gorgeous.
They used various cobbled streets and old stoops in front of homes. They even had an entire street closed off so I could walk with my model uninterrupted - it was very cool. There was the photographer, and the lighting people, and all kinds of equipment. I also saw my friend John on set. I met him when I was a pup. He is a trainer and I like listening to him.
There were no big wardrobe changes and they liked my hair so I was pretty much rollin' from the start. I worked a six hour day. It was a lot of work, but everyone was nice and they said they got some really good shots, so that was the goal of the day. The only thing they told me to work on, was to not bark when Aunt Mimi was around. I guess I get a little clingy with family. I will be more focused on my next shoot. Once I'm 'in the zone' I'm great. It's good to have some things to aspire to, otherwise it could get boring - right?!
