Rambo's Daily Dogma - by Rambo Fuhrman

Back to cute and perky!

Moments afer being released from the Groom Room, I pose for my 'after' picture. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to move. But I also knew things might sway my way at dinner time if I appeased mom. So 'snap' shot taken. Me, giving a little swagger as I lean jauntily against the gym bag. I had just run the 6 blocks, careening from one side of the sidewalk to the other, paying no heed to passersby -- I just needed to move. Once in the vicinity of home, we continued on to the coffee shop where I pressed my nose against the glass while mom got a latte (I was not allowed inside).

My yearning eyes at the window elicited many a comment and I was surprised they did not say 'oh, Rambo just come inside and the latte is on us', but I did get a lot of nice compliments which made all the pain and suffering a bit more worth it. Okay, I exaggerate, but I'm just glad I'm on the other side of it now. It will be at least 3 months before I see the inside of a grooming crate - or what they call -- a small spa suite. (nothing sweet about it)

The evening was lovely and relaxing. I got all my pent out emotion out on the street so I was able to really relax and enjoy the dinner and special treat mom made for me that night. I scored beef and a bone for dinner. We watched America's got talent and saw them cut the group from 12 to 6. It was tough to see the Dog Act, I mean the hand balancing - dog act go, but the competition was stiff. I was exhausted from all that excitement and fell into a deep, handsome dog sleep.
