Rambo's Daily Dogma - by Rambo Fuhrman

Halloween Eve

It's the day before Halloween,

and all through the lobby,

the pumpkins are waiting....

this isn't a hobby.

Their job is to scare

sometimes light the way

but clustered in this bunch

they are waiting til end of day.

Tomorrow the Trick or Treaters

Will pass by their station

Dressed in fanciful costumes

Full of candy and elation

But keep a watchful eye

For pumpkins are special folk

Don't let their countenance fool you

For they'll be the first to play a joke

So enjoy the festivities

and know the pumpkins are lying low

To grab you -- where you tread

So look for them by their glow.

*editors note: if you stand on top of them, you're automatically safe.
