Rambo's Daily Dogma - by Rambo Fuhrman

January 1st 2015

It was the best of times... eh, something like that. I'm not sure what happened after our romp through Times Square and the parties and all the yummy food, but I believe it is now 2015.

Wow - a whole new year! I like the sound of 2015 - the evenness of it - seems promising. I know I started out the evening at mom's and somehow ended up at Uncle Peter and Mimi's apt. There were subways and bicycles and probably just a bit too much egg nog to remember more clearly. But that is all in the distant past now. It is a new day and a new year -- I just need to rest here a bit longer and ponder my wondrous opportunities.

I haven't truly thought it through as to what areas I want to focus on this year. I know that I am very thankful for everything and everyone in my life, so I don't really see any need to change anything. I like it all! Many people have resolutions that they want to make and then follow. I'm quite content to just lie here until someone decides that they want to scratch my tummy or feed me. In fact, I'm not sure I need to do anything differently, especially if everyone else is changing. I can be the constant in the universe - around which everything revolves.

Yes that sounds a bit egotistical but doesn't it make sense? After all, most of MY resolutions have to do with others... feeding me more often or taking me out more often or playing with me at all hours. So I'll just pass that information on to the involved parties and I'm done.

2015 is off to a great start!
